|A Swarm Welcome|
|Season 2, Episode 16|
|Air date||August 31, 2013|
The episode begins with three locusts crawling around a swarm host. They time out and one bursts goo over swarm host's face, and swarm host wipes his face. Swarm host then burrows and spawns three locusts. The locusts wander around aimlessly until the swarm host orders them to move toward the terran base.
A marine sees the approaching locusts and prepares to shoot them, but flees at the last minute. He hides behind the supply depot, which the locusts easily destroy. He then takes cover inside the bunker, but the locusts destroy the bunker as well. A group of marines and marauders arrives to kill the locusts but get defeated easily. The marine, now out of tricks, prepares for his death but the locusts time out before they can attack him. The marine then runs toward the swarm host and begins shooting him. The swarm host burrows to escape. Oddly, the marine cannot find it despite half of its body protruding from the ground. The swarm host then spawns three more locusts but the marine flees before they hatch.
- This episode's title is a pun on the term "warm welcome".
- The marine throws gauss rifle four times in a row.
In-game Refrences Edit
- Locusts idling and jumping on the swarm host is a reference to locust's inactivity until the player commands them in StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm.
- Swarm host burrowing in half of itself so that the marine doesn't see him happens in-game as swarm hosts are invisible by burrowing unless detectors should turn them visible.
